Compared to typical original equipment sizes, it provides the Plus Zero size options (which combine wider, lower profile sized tires with the vehicle's original wheel diameter) which enhance steering response and stability. The Yokohama AVID S/T uses Yokohama's Tri plex Tread Compound to blend all weather traction with longer wear while its independent block tread pattern incorporates wide circumferential grooves and Yokohama's 20 deg V-groove technology for more efficient water drainage to enhance wet traction and resist hydroplaning.
