Weapon*R's new Cold Air boxes are made of high quality aluminum, to shield horsepower robbing heat from the filter. You never have to worry about driving on a rainy day anymore. The Weapon*R Cold Air Box is the answer to the enthusiasts who want cold air intake performance, but are weary of the dangers which come with conventional cold air kits.

The Cold Airbox was designed utilizing technology seen in many forms of racing, like WRC Racing which dirt is a major factor. This kit isolates the filter in the engine compartment away from dirt and water, which can cause serious engine damage. By isolating the filter and allowing the engine to draw air from a cold source in the engine compartment, away from horsepower robbing heat.

Seen it on a car but I do not own one, wish that they would make one for my car. The shielding really does work because it covers the entire intale and on another note the shielding doesn't look like one of those cheap round ones it looks very professional and clean. If they make this for your car, i suggest that you chack into it more.
