Doing an clutch swap? Get a flywheel too!
The balance between reliability and performance is a fine line. Our clutch line has been designed with this in mind. We have narrowed down our line to only a few materials and designs that, put simply, work! And if you have a unique situation that warrants a different solution, we will provide it! Our clutches work off of our DiscSystem™, not a clutch cover or stage system. Simply choose the recommended disc material/style for your driving style and power levels and you are done! No second guessing which cover should be matched up to which disc or stage.
A clutch disc is only as good as the pressure plate it is matched to. Clamp loads are important, but the highest clamp load is not necessarily the best solution. Extremely high loads will put an unnecessary strain on your clutch hydraulics, thrust bearings on the crankshaft in your motor, and of course your left foot! Our heavy duty pressure plates feature load increases ranging from 15% to 30% over stock (depending on application). We have a number of options available to us for increasing the load on our pressure plates. This means that the method used for one application may differ from another.
Release bearing contact areas on all diaphragm springs are hardened to reduce wear, and covers are also balanced and tested before shipping. Our clutch kit designs take into consideration many factors. This is done to provide you with a very reliable, long-lasting clutch assembly that will not prematurely wear other related components. New for 2004! Double-diaphram covers are also available by special order for unique situations!
Our kits include the pressure plate, disc, release bearing, alignment tool, and pilot bushing/bearing (where applicable). Take a look at our current lineup and if you have any questions regarding which disc is right for your vehicle, please give us a call.
