Power Slot Rotors are made using the highest quality original equipment designs, and manufactured to the highest tolerances keeping safety and quality number one. Slotting, unlike drilling does not comprimise the structural integrity of the rotor. These Power Slots will help your brakes fight brake fade and provide an escape path for the hot gases to escape.

Excessive heat can cause resins in your brake pad to vaporize or "outgas." As the brake pad wears, the used friction material turns into a fine dust. This boundary layer of heat, gas and dust builds up between the pad and rotor surfaces and inhibits performance. Here's where Power Slot's slotted brake rotors make a big difference.
Power Slot's exclusive Vac-U-Slots are machined into the rotor and help evacuate gasses and dust, shed heat, and keep the brake pad surface clean. And in wet, raining conditions, our Vac-U-Slot helps push water off the braking surface for better stopping power.
The Vac-U-Slot also serves as a visual wear indicator. The slot is machined to the rotor’s minimum thickness where it crosses the outside edge. If you cannot see the slot along the outside edge, the rotor has worn down to its discard depth.
A combination of Hawk® high performance brake pads and Power Slot
slotted rotors will deliver superior, reliable braking for virtually
all automotive, truck and SUV applications, even under hard
driving and severe duty conditions. But for our most
demanding customers such as police pursuit vehicles
and club racers, we also suggest Power Slot Cryo rotors.
What about cross drilled rotors? Cross drilled rotors are good for show pieces, but they do not perform like the slotted rotors! Even if performance is not your goal, unlike cross drilled rotors, these rotors will not crack! Many of our customers have found that their cross drilled rotors literally cracked at the drills, and when switching to slotted brake rotors, their problems were eliminated. Most top ranked race teams perfer the slotted rotors over the drilled rotors for better cooling, longevity, and overall performance. We recommend these rotors to all of our customers, whether they are looking for OEM replacement or extra performance.
Heat is the primary cause of ineffective brakes due to fade. There is actually a “boundary layer” of gases that builds up between the pad and rotor surface which inhibits performance. Here’s where Power Slot rotors make a big difference. The exclusive Vac-U-Slots machined into the rotor “wipes” brake pads clean, evacuates gases, and sheds heat. A combination of a “high performance pad” and Power Slot rotors will provide superior reliable braking for virtually all automotive and truck applications, with an upgrade to larger diameter rotors and bigger calipers typically only needed for the most severe competition applications.
Power Slot rotors are manufactured to the highest tolerances keeping SAFETY and quality our number one priority. Slotting, unlike drilling, doesn’t compromise the structural integrity of the rotor. When you drill a rotor you weaken it and cause stress points that can lead to cracking and ultimately failure. Also, drilled rotors lose considerable surface area compared to slotted rotors which means less active braking area for pad to rotor contact.
Power Slot rotors are made using the highest quality Original Equipment replacement blanks. Competitors will sacrifice quality by using inexpensive off-shore castings. Typically these are made of inferior porous material and often have less cooling fins than their OE counterpart. These fins also serve to reinforce the rotor and guard against warpage. Power Slot rotors always meet and/or exceed all OE specifications. It’s also important to know that the exclusive Vac-U-Slot is tapered to enhance evacuation of heat and gases. All machining is done in house to Power Performance Group’s application specific tolerances to ensure optimum quality control.
The final touch is a military-spec cadmium plating that gives Power Slot rotors their bright silver finish and protects the rotor from the elements. This eliminates rusty rotor syndrome and enhances the look of custom wheels.
Replaced my OEM rotors with these, and they looked and worked great. They were a bit pricey, but well worth it; they held out fantastic under heavy street use and weekend track duty. They'd make a perfect addition to a spirited DD or show car.

Rotors work great! I notice my stop times decrease a lot! The only thing I would recommend for these rotors is to get a higher quality brake pad because slotted rotors do eat pads...but overall I am very happy!

These PowerSlot rotors improved my braking a lot. My stock rotors cannot even compare to these rotors. I stop so much quicker and better then with the stock rotors. Plus these rotors look great behind my chrome rims. I would recommend definitely buying a nice brake pad to go with these rotors seeing that they are slotted. Can't even explain how amazed I am with these rotors. I would definitely recommend them to any daily street car and even a track car.

Power Slot rotors are a great buy. They have the stopping power and durability under hard driving and braking as well. I recommend Power Slot rotors anyday of the year!

I had Power Slot rotors for my last car, and they were amazingly responsive. These rotors did a MUCH better job of stopping my car, especially because I had them slotted. Definately worth the money if you are having issues with your brakes or just want to upgrade. PowerSlot has the quality I am looking for in the products I buy for my car, and I would definately use them again.
Power Slot rotors are very responsive, stop quick, and stay cooler than any other rotors I've used. They are a little loud for the average daily driver, but overall a good rotor.
Have Powerslot rotors front and rear on my 1998 Mistubishi 3000GT SOHC. The brakes work well and installed without problem. The finish on the hub section began to show wear and tear (pitting) in a matter of weeks although this has not affected performance. Good value for the money.
