Looking for a great alternative to overpriced brake kits from other manufacturers? NEX and Pro Street Online team up to bring you a great combination of price and performance in these NEX Big Brake kits! These 2 piece floating rotors are slotted and vented and mounted onto a CNC aluminum hat. They are designed to prevent warping caused by aggressive braking and with superior heat dissapation characteristics. These are available in 4 and 6 piston configurations, and come complete with all hardware to bolt these massive brakes onto your vehicle. Each kit comes complete with stainless steel braided lines to provide maximum hydraulic pressure to each caliper and brake rotor, while providing superior feedback to the driver and pedal. These NEX brake kits come with street compound pads that have an operating temperature of 50-650 deg C which is ideal for street use. There is an optional race pad available for this big brake kit but is not recommended for street use. These steel caliper adapters are manufactured from high grade rolled steel and tempered and treated for strength and rigidity. Please make sure to contact your sales rep regarding wheel fitment for these big brake kits. Most kits require 18 inch rims, some 17 inch rims may fit with proper offset spacing. With over 400 whp, the tiny brakes on my car were no longer safe. After a few close calls, I realized that I needed to upgrade to better brakes with improved stopping the power. After doing some research, I settled on the NEX Big Brake Kit, which has made a huge difference in my car. With bigger rotors, 6 piston calipers and stainless steel brake lines, my car stops on a dime. I no longer have to worry about brake fade or warping my rotors. It is easily the best mod I have done to my vehicle. Highly recommended!! Looks great too.
