Kumho ECSTA HP4 716, 716 HP4 and 716 represent three different names for the same tire design. Kumho's 716 tires are Grand Touring All-Season designed for the drivers of sporty coupes and sedans. Kumho 716 tires were designed to provide a combination of a quiet ride, responsive handling, good wet traction and long mileage.
On the outside, the 716 tires feature Kumho's ARC compound technology that utilizes a special polymeric process for the tread and lower sidewall to enhance traction and handling. It is molded into a tread design that features three wide, full-depth circumferential and multiple lateral grooves to ensure good all-season traction in rain and light snow. On the inside, twin steel belts are reinforced by two layers of nylon belt edge strips to provide high-speed stability and durability, while polyester body plies provide strength and a smooth ride.
