Created to be the most reliable blow off valve system available, the GReddy Type-RS's state-of-the art design allows for greater performance in a compact size. Improved response and increased pressure are achieved through carefully selected spring rates and a large 40mm valve. The real unique feature of the Type-RS blow off valve is the CNC machined 8 discharge ports that draw in the surrounding air to amplify the blow-off sound. The Type-RS is compatible with the standard GReddy Blow-off Valve flanges.
I recently replaced my Type S BOV with the new Type RS unit and it's great. It has that nice whoooosh (HKS, Blitz) sound versus. the Type S' "Mouse Fart" sound. It seems to be a little more responsive as well but my old BOV was a bit aged. All-in-all it's soo far soo good, I recommend the Greddy Type RS BOV to anyone who doesn't want to pay much for a good BOV.

I replace my GReddy Type-S with this RS and I love it! I believe it is built to hold more pressure, which I plan on running eventually, but it looks great, easy to install and sounds very nice. Now, for me it doesn't sound all that different than my Type-S did. But the sound of the BOV is different with every car and almost every setup for a single car. I would highly recommend this BOV.
