Calibrate in 200rpm increments, you'll feel the improvement from part-to wide wide-open-throttle. Max Micro Tuner can also adjust trans shift points and firmness as well as recalibrate the speedo for non-stock tire sizes and axle gears. In addition, the MAX Micro Tuner has a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) feature that allows you to retrieve trouble codes stored in the vehicles computer. A complete list of these codes is included with the instructions for the unit so you can pinpoint the problem. Once you've determined the source of the trouble code and corrected it, the MAX Micro Tuner can then clear that trouble code for you. You can also recalibrate the speedometer to adjust for taller wheels/tires down the line. Installation is a snap too because the MAX Micro Tuner simply plugs into the ALDL connection inside the cab.
