The ESCTA AST is the High Performance All-Season member of KUMHO’s ECSTA family of performance tires for the drivers of modified coupes, sedans and sports cars. The ECSTA AST is designed to provide the exotic looks, traction and value tuners want in a tire while providing year-round traction on dry and wet roads, as well as in light snow.
The ECSTA AST molds KUMHO’s advanced carbon, all-season tread compound into a directional tread design with shoulders designed to increase cornering grip while the center provides linear responsiveness and high-speed stability. Dual-angle cross grooves help pump water and slush through the tire's footprint to increase hydroplaning resistance while multiple sipes in each tread block increase the number of biting edges to enhance light snow traction. The tire's structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon, along with a polyester cord ply carcass reinforced by a hard sidewall filler to help resist distortion at high speeds and while cornering.
The ECSTA ASX (ASX for All-Season Xtreme) is a member of Kumho's race-proven ECSTA high performance tire family. It is an Ultra High Performance All-Season tire that was developed to meet the needs of the drivers of sports cars, coupes and sedans by blending responsive handling with dry, wet and year-round traction, even in light snow.
On the outside, the ECSTA ASX molds a high technology silica and carbon tread compound into an asymmetric tread design that features large outside tread blocks for quick response and sporty handling with high volume circumferential and high angle slant grooves to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. Constant contact center blocks help reduce noise while providing continuous road contact to improve straight-line stability. Internally, ECSTA ASX tires feature Kumho's Dynamic Casing Shape Technology that controls casing tension throughout the tire. This allows the ECSTA ASX to increase ride comfort by absorbing bumps and increase handling by remaining stable when cornering. ECSTA ASX tires feature twin, high-tensile steel belts with spiral-wrapped jointless cap and belt edge strips to stabilize the tread area enhancing handling, high-speed capability and ride quality while minimizing weight.
The ECSTA KH11 is Kumho's Grand Touring Summer tire designed for the drivers of sports coupes and sporty sedans. It was developed to provide a unique blend of ride comfort, noise qualities and responsive handling while providing very good traction on wet and dry roads. Like all summer tires, ECSTA KH11 tires are not intended to be driven in near freezing temperatures, through snow of on ice.
On the outside, the ECSTA KH11 features a racing-inspired, silica-enhanced tread compound molded into an asymmetric tread design. Large outer tread blocks and a continuous center rib help provide stable cornering, responsive steering and high speed stability. Three wide circumferential tread grooves and multiple lateral tread grooves evacuate water from under the tire's footprint to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. Internally, the ECSTA KH11 features twin steel belts reinforced by spiral-wrapped nylon cord to stabilize the tread area, enhancing treadwear, handling and high-speed capability while maximizing ride uniformity. The ECSTA KH11 is refined through the use of Kumho's ESCOT Technology that optimizes the tire's shape, internal tension and footprint contact pressure.

The ECSTA SPT (KU31) is KUMHO's Ultra High Performance Summer tire developed for sports cars, coupes and sedans. The ECSTA SPT was designed to offer grip, handling, comfort, wear and good looks in order to provide enthusiastic drivers the ability to "Drive Hard 'Go Big' Look Good." ECSTA SPT tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
On the outside, ECSTA SPT tires feature KUMHO's High Dispersion Silica tread compound (that broadens the tread rubber's temperature operating range) molded into a directional tread design that features large, independent shoulder blocks, four straight circumferential grooves and three solid center ribs to combine wet grip, responsive handling and high-speed stability. Rotation Wear Indicators (R.W.I.) are built into the ECSTA SPT to let drivers know the time has come to rotate tires to maintain more even wear and lower noise levels into the later stages of the tire's life. On the inside, ECSTA SPT tires feature twin steel belts reinforced by a spiral-wrapped, jointless nylon cap ply to enhance ride quality while providing high-speed durability.

It also features high angle, lateral grooves that help channel water toward the sides of the tire to resist hydroplaning. Internally, the ECSTA STX features twin, high tensile steel belts reinforced with two nylon cap plies to stabilize the tread area thus enhancing handling and high speed capability. Two polyester body plies and nylon bead reinforcements in the tire's sidewalls blend ride quality with steering response.
The Solus KH16 (so'lus) is KUMHO's Grand Touring All-Season offering developed for the drivers of sporty coupes and sedans. Solus KH16 tires were designed to offer a harmonious balance of noise comfort, ride comfort and handling performance, along with dry, wet and year-round traction, even in light snow.
The SOLUS KH16 is refined through the use of KUMHO's ESCOT Technology that optimizes the tire's shape, internal tension and footprint contact pressure. On the outside, the Solus KH16 tires feature an all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design that features full-depth circumferential and multiple lateral grooves to enhance traction in rain and light snow. On the inside, twin steel belts are reinforced by nylon belt edge strips to provide high speed stability and durability, while polyester body plies provide carcass strength and a smooth ride.
