Intrax designs most of its lowering kits with progressive rates, to satisfy two features customers ask for most. First, the lowered look. Most other brand's springs are linear rate, as this is a cost-effective but doesn't necessarily provide the visual effect you desire. By designing a progressive spring, Intrax achieves the lowered look while maintaining safety standards of spring preload at suspension droop. The second requirement is ride quality. Since most customers identified that they drive 90% of their mileage to and from work, customers wanted to retain some ride quality enjoyed with OE springs. Super Sport kits provide aggressive drivers with substantially stiffer spring rates and some of the lowest fitments available for street cars. Super Sport springs lower vehicles 2.25 in. - 2.5 in., providing race car looks with handling to match. All Super Sport kits are made with the same quality material and design standards used with Intrax lowering sport spring kits. Super Sport lowering springs are designed to be used with aftermarket sport shock absorbers. Minor modifications or camber kits may be required.
