The Flaming River Big Switch heavy duty battery disconnect switch features an easy grip 3 1/2 in. T-handle and is rated at 250 amps continuous and up to 2,500 amps for 5 second periods. The Big Switch totally disconnects the circuit for emergency shutoff and its NHRA accepted. An 18 in. remote mount extension is available separately.
When you stuff your battery in a Moroso sealed battery box, you can locate it just about anywhere you want on your vehicle and not worry about water, dirt, dust, etc. ruining it. Accepted by the NHRA and IHRA, the tough polyethylene box has an airtight lid with a foam gasket to keep battery gasses from entering you car's interior (six quick-release fasteners keep the lid on tight). The box comes with a vent tube, battery hold-down with 3/8 in. steel rods, rubber cable clamps and grommets, and mounting hardware.
This Moroso battery disconnect switch is designed for limited service--drag race applications without alternators. It features one pairs of copper mounting studs, a sealed shaft to keep out moisture and debris, indexing pin alignment to prevent switch rotation, a face plate, and fits panels up to a 1/4 in. thick.
