This IS the best engine lubricant (synthetic) and holds up even in the constant heat of south Florida in a high-revving engine. Yes, it is expensive but the extra few dollars are worth investing in your engine. I just stripped down the engine for a performance rebuild and the bores were perfect, so was the inside of the oil pump housing...thanks to regular maintenance and this quality of lubricant.
