Of all a vehicle's suspension components, nothing works harder than the shock absorbers, making it critical to pick the correct ones. Bilstein Gas Pressurized Shock Absorbers are the least expensive, fastest way, to dramatically improve the ride, handling and control of a vehicle. Additionally, with Bilstein's aftermarket lifetime warranty, you can be assured they're built to last!
Bilstein also manufactures an extensive line of performance gas pressure struts for most automotive applications. Utilizing the same technological design advantages as our gas pressure shock absorbers, Bilstein monotube struts also provide superior stability through exceptional resistance to lateral forces.
Bilstein's twin tube strut assemblies are manufactured with the extreme attention to precision and detail that Bilstein is famous for. They're designed to withstand maximum loads while providing high durability.
And like our shock absorbers, Bilstein Struts are built for the specific application.
KAYABA Industries (with products marketed under the KYB brand name) has been recognized around the world as a leader in the design and production of state-of-the-art gas shocks and struts. As Japan's largest manufacturer of automotive shock absorbing equipment, KYB employs a process of continuous refinement and improvement of its products since its founding over 50 years ago.
KYB shock absorbers provide superior steering control using Kayaba hydraulic technology to generate smooth road conditions through absorption of road vibrations and leveling for uneven road conditions. The variety and reliability of KYB shock absorber products have been demonstrated well beyond typical automotive applications in the harsh conditions found in motorsports. Their experience with high performance racing applications is applied to the design of their passenger vehicle line of products.
Their ability to provide innovative engineering, proven reliability and finely-tuned ride quality has made KYB Original Equipment on vehicles manufactured by Chrysler, Ford, Infiniti, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Saturn, Subaru and Suzuki. The Tire Rack offers a wide range of KYB gas shock absorbers, ranging from those used on passenger and performance cars to those for pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles.

I needed to replace all 4 shocks and struts on my Mitsubishi Eclipse. I decided to go with all 4 KYB GR2 shocks and struts, and am pleased that I did. The GR2's have been working great for a little over a year, and even though I have lowering springs on my car, they still have lasted! Definately recommended.

I noticed my rear right shock was leaking fluid, and didn't want to take any chances with having a blown shock. It was recommended to me by a good friend that you should replace both sides at the same time. I ended up ordered two new Sachs shocks for my BMW 318i. I installed them myself, it was pretty straight forward, and think they were built well, and the car rides much better.
