I recently took my car in for a smog check, and the technician said my car failed due to a faulty EGR valve. He offered to sell me one, but the price was too high. I decided to search around and found this EGR valve on this site. The price was half of what the mechanic was charging! When the part arrived, I was please to see it was a very high quality piece. My mechanic installed it, and the car passed smog beautifully!

I recently purchased a 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. The car came with an EGR valve block off plate, would not pass smog, and had a check engine light. I bought a new EGR valve from this site, and installed it with no problems. The EGR valve works perfectly, and has led me to buy many other replacement parts from Pro Street :)

i just bought a 97 infiniti from an old friend for $300 just because it kept cutting off, the mechanic said that the EGR valve and tubes needed changing so that would cost $700.
after that he informed me that the valve covers are leaking as well and thats another $1400 to fix. 3 weeks later i got the car back and 5 minutes from his shop it cut off again. he told me to add oil stablelizor and premium gas, it still cuts off. did i pay too much and should i take it back to him?
