PBR Deluxe Plus brake pads are perfect if you are looking for an extremely low dust brake pad that is also very quiet and rotor friendly, yet has the grip and fade resistance required for performance cars. These organic pads continue to work well at temperatures up to 716 °F, similar to OEM pads. The only thing you give up is the dust! So stop washing brake dust off your wheels every few days without giving up any braking performance.
PBR Metal Master semi-metallic brake pads excel in high performance, high speed, and high heat circumstances. Plus, depending on your driving style, the life expectancy of PBR Metal Master pads exceeds other conventional semi-metallic pads by 200 to 500 percent. Fade, squeal, and unsightly brake dust have been virtually eliminated. Containing no asbestos, PBR Metal Master pads provide the ultimate in stopping power under all driving conditions - wet or dry.
Akebono ceramic brake pads will put an end to your replacement brake pad nightmare - noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Developed from ceramic research similar to that which led to the ceramic heat shields on the space shuttle, Akebono brake pads combine the best performance characteristics of both semi-metallic and organic pads while reducing noise, lowering dust accumulation, and providing better fit with the rotor. Since ceramic pads are O.E. on many vehicles today, including the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, you might be shocked by a increase in NVH if you replace your O.E. ceramic pad with a metallic alternative. Other manufacturers using Akebono as OE include Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Lexus, Infiniti, and DaimlerChrysler. Akebono invented the technology for ceramic friction materials in the 1980's. Today, Akebono Ceramic Technology (ACT) with NVH control is specified by all of the world's leading vehicle manufacturers. There are more than 250 OEM ceramic disc pad numbers for vehicles from the past 10 years.
Akebono's ceramic brake pads provide:
Enhanced initial effectiveness - no break-in required
Excellent rotor compatibility
Unsurpassed vibration dampening
Dramatically quieter braking
Specified as O.E.

I needed new brake pads for my Ford Expedition and came across this site. The prices were good, so I gave it a shot. I bought PBR Metal Masters in the front, and PBR Semi Metallic in the rear. Install was pretty straight forward, and the truck stops much better now! I had my old rotors resurfaced at the same time, and I can say I am very pleased.
