My CV boot went out on my axle, and had grease all over the bottom of the car. I found that for the price of the CV Boot, and having the CV boot installed, it would be better to just buy a whole new axle. I bought a remanufactured axle, and it looked completely brand new with new CV boots. Very pleased!!

I was doing a motor swap of a GSR motor into my hatchback civic. All I was missing was the axles. I stopped by Pro Street, and picked up two brand new EMPI axles for my civic. The axles have been great, and have taken a lot of abuse on and off the track, and have had no problems. The CV boots to this day do not leak, and the axles do not pop out. I am very happy with these axles, and recommend them highly.

My axles were making clicking noises when I would turn left or turn right. My mechanic told me the clicking noises is from the CV boots, since the CV went dry. I ordered new EMPI axles, and was very happy with the quality when they arrived. Great price, and knock on wood, have not had any problems. Going to get another set for my wifes Tercel since its making clicking noises now too! :)
